Are you a Lived Experience Practitioner (LXP)? (Mad) Academic? Student? Clinician? Service User? Carer? Come and join us - Mad Studies is for everyone :-) Mad Studies Birmingham is passionate about Mad Knowledge & Mad Literature. This month's we have an update from Dr. Toby Brandon about the chapter we will be writing for the Mad Studies book, due to be published next year. We often discuss the emotional labour required of people who use services to be part of involvement projects or to co-produce work. This month we are considering ‘Uncovering the emotional labour of involvement and co-production in mental health research’ by Alison Faulkner & Rose Thompson.
